The following comments represent a sampling of the comments from educators across the country as to THE FARMING GAME's®: authenticity, accuracy and range of use in the classroom. This fun family game is not only used in over 2,000 classrooms, but is also used extensively by homeschoolers.

We are currently at work with Dr. Neil Knoblock of the University of Illinois on a teacher's guide and lesson plans for THE FARMING GAME®, for advanced use in high school and at the college level. With this guide our game can be an excellent tool to teach accounting and business management -as well providing the first class social studies lesson already contained in the game's structure. This teacher's guide should be ready for the 2003-2004 school year.

After reviewing the game, Clemson University Agricultural Extension Agency sent press releases to 141 newspapers recommending THE FARMING GAME®.

"This is the first time I know of when this agency has 'endorsed' or 'promoted' a product of this or any type. We feel it is worthy." -- Danny McNeill. Extension Editor.

California Farm Bureau Federation --

"I am pleased to report THE FARMING GAME® has been well received by students and teachers in the San Francisco Unified School District. The teachers participating in Farm Bureau's Unit Study on Agriculture have utilized the game to emphasize decisions farmers must make. In addition to teaching students about agriculture, they feel your game is well suited in teaching general economic concepts and group decision making. THE FARMING GAME ® will continue to be an important part of our Agricultural Education Program." -Mark P. Linder, Program Director Agricultural Education.

North Posey FFA Chapter North Posey Sr. High School, Poseyville, Indiana -

"Aside from my wife and I playing it at home with friends, my students have become addicted to it. I let them play it for 3 days and now that's all they want to do. The 24 games you are sending me are all bought up by my students. I hope we will be receiving them soon, fights are already breaking out over who gets to play with the one game I have. Thank you for the most entertaining as well as educational game."-Jon R. Neufelder, Vo.Ag.lnstructor.

Montana Vocational Agriculture Teachers Association, Pray Mt.

"The game has really become a tool I rely on in my Ag Management classes. Its effect is to bring all the basic management functions into a package that all the students can understand. If the students get excited about doing a class project they seem to learn more. The game provides the excitement, but also allows the instructor to use it to explain decision making, credit, risk, planning, etc. I find even the poorest students will get in and work at the game, and interestingly enough their test scores have improved considerably hbecause they could picture the concepts through use of the game. In my opinion the gamew has limitless possibilities as a teaching tool. I most happily intend to keep using it in my classes!" -Alan Redfield, Secretary American Vocational Assoc.
